Valuation Service (Any Vehicle)

We are able to provide independent valuation reports on any vehicle with Classic and Collectors’ vehicles included in this area of expertise. This service is undertaken as a partnership with Bawns – https://www.bawns.co.uk/ – who specialise in Classic and Specialist vehicle appraisals.

The purpose of such reports is to provide the instructing party with an expert’s valuation report, usually for agreed value Insurance policies but also for dispute, unrecovered theft and matrimonial divorce proceedings etc.

We can deal with such matters on a physical inspection basis or via a desk top review of a file of papers relating to the vehicle(s) in question, however a physical inspection is always recommended wherever possible.

The physical inspection service will include a detailed inspection of the vehicle (without any dismantling) and during that time detailed digital images will be taken.  We will perform a HPI history check on the vehicle to include a check of the vehicle’s odometer reading via the National mileage register (NMR) & MOT history check.

We will research the valuation of the vehicle using a variety of sources including industry recognised valuation guides (where applicable) and also searching for comparable vehicles advertised for sale in the market place at the relevant point in time.

Once we have gathered all the facts, data and research we will then produce an executive summary valuation report, including our captured digital images (physical inspection only) and also the relevant research used to support our experts findings.
