Clayton West Cricket Club & Brain tumour / cancer research

I will be doing this at the end of June.
I am doing this for 2 great causes that are both very close to my heart and I would greatly appreciate it if you would be able to sponsor me and split any donation you may be able to offer between the 2 causes (see below in no particular order)
Clayton West Cricket Club – We have become a real hub in the community that kids can come train, play matches and of course have fun in the open air in secure surroundings (not in front of the XBOX!).
Unfortunately over the winter monsoons and heavy snow our artificial wicket, that the kids use to play matches and train on, has become badly damaged and desperately needs replacing. Without this they are unable to train properly and playing competitive league matches becomes difficult, the cost to replace this is a whopping £5,000 -£6000 and as a club, that is run by volunteers, we do not have this amount in the bank account! As part of a walking team I / we are trying to raise £5-£6k required to replace it. Unfortunately we are unable to get grants as we do not own the ground.
Brain tumour / cancer research , again very close to my heart.
As part of the walk we will be raising much needed funds for the amazing charity Brain Tumour Research that do such an amazing job to support family members through what can only be described as the most traumatic time of their lives, a good friend of mines wife Charlotte who is thankfully still with us ( her bio is in the just giving link below, if you have time please have a read) was diagnosed with a brain tumour and thankfully she has managed to power through it. Her Husband Nick has organised the walk and has done an amazing job in supporting his family and also getting everything sorted for the walk.
